Stacy has spent the last seven years honing her visual storytelling prowess as a commercial photographer. This period has been fundamental in sharpening her expertise in lighting and directing.
Following a period of reflection catalyzed by the pandemic, Stacy embraced her longstanding passion for cinematography and directing. This pivot from her photography roots was driven by a deep-seated desire to explore and innovate within the realms of narrative fiction, advertising, fashion and music video production.
Her vision as a filmmaker is centered on amplifying marginalized voices and fostering diversity and inclusivity within the motion picture industry. She has a meticulous attention to detail and an ability to thrive in dynamic environments that suits her well for filmmaking.
As Stacy embarks on this exciting new chapter, she is keen to collaborate with like-minded individuals and organizations passionate about creating meaningful, visually stunning, and inclusive narratives.
She has a foundation in Film Studies and Mass Communications from York University, and specialized training in Commercial Photography from Dawson College.
